A Lesson Learned!

Well, we started redoing our den in November of 2007. Part of the plan was to build in bookcases under the sunroom windows, and to turn the sunroom into a playroom of sorts. Robert said he was willing to make the bookcases for the sunroom.....great idea, right??? Not long after we talked about this, I got baskets for my anxiously awaited bookcase. Tate's toys went in the baskets and they went in the spot where the bookcases were to go. Well, yesterday the bookcase was complete. A whole year and a half later. Intially I was told, "Oh, it will just take a weekend". Little did I realize a weekend project could turn into a year and a half. The bookcase is great, but the time frame was miserable! Well, I am thankful he built it and we can seem semi organized now.

I have also begun to tackle my fear of the kitchen. Several family members will be proud to know that I prepare dinner several night a week now, and it is getting easier. I decided I would make Valentines for Tate's class this year. I decided to have a trial run this afternoon. They turned out very cute, easy, and delicious!
